MEET JEANNINA ADAMS |
What I am doing |
has everything to do with the influence of my parents. My parents have been role models for helping others and instilling in me that I could achieve whatever I dreamed.
My mother has always |
known about the power of positive thought well before the creation of ‘The Secret’. She instilled values of faith, compassion and kindness. She has helped mentally and emotionally disturbed boys; volunteered at prisons and wouldn’t hesitate to help someone in need.
My father successfully completed |
treatment in 1971 for alcohol and drug addiction. Afterward, he was inspired to start a non-profit from scratch that provided financial assistance to people who didn’t have the funds to get into treatment. This calling was so clear that he left his career as a sheet metal worker and building official to venture into something he knew nothing about – other than his commitment to create an opportunity for other people to get sober. Can you imagine the sole supporter of a family of six leaving a promising career to start something on blind faith? This inspiration has touched over 100,000 lives!
As a result of |
my role models, I have a special place in my heart for anyone who displays the courage to change or bring a dream to life. I believe people can change and go after what they want in this big, wide world. I’ve witnessed it and done it myself. All it takes is a desire to have something different than it is and a willingness to give it a go. Learning to turn events I may once have viewed as bad choices into learning opportunities – continues to be life changing for me.
My working background is |
like a bag of mixed candy. Everything from fitness and restaurants, to ten years in the healthcare industry and over twenty years in the non-profit sector – as a volunteer; board member and then executive director. In 2005, I found myself at a crossroads after getting married and deciding it was time to leave the non-profit arena. I was in a scary and exciting position of deciding what I wanted to pursue in my life.
A series of events |
led me to the journey of becoming a life coach. One of my intentions is to be of service and make a difference. Life Coaching is a natural fit for me and through coaching, I am living my passion to make a positive difference in the lives of others – by helping them uncover their own answers.
I am also pursuing |
a life long dream of sharing my artistic gifts with others on a large scale. You can learn more about this at www.j-nina.com
I am certified |
through the International Coach Federation (ICF) as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC). I also graduated from the Fearless Living Institute and received certification to coach Stacey Mayo’s ‘Living Your Dreams’ program. I also have training in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Tapas Acupuncture Technique (TAT).
